Protect your mattress without adding noisy, bulky layers
A spill or overnight accident can put an expensive mattress at risk, but a protector shouldn’t crinkle every time you roll over. These options focus on liquid protection, a quiet sleep surface, and a secure fit, with some added quilted softness. They’re mattress protectors rather than thick foam toppers, so they won’t correct a sagging bed or meaningfully change its firmness, pressure relief, or spinal support.
Our comparison is based on the listed product specifications, including waterproof layers, fabric descriptions, pocket depth, and care instructions. BEDLORE highlights a TPU waterproof layer and a quilted surface, while PlushDeluxe describes bamboo-derived viscose fabric and a breathable membrane. Both brands list options that fit mattresses up to 18 inches deep, a useful detail for pillow-top beds or mattresses with an existing topper. Check your mattress height before buying, and remember that a protector adds a layer beneath your fitted sheet rather than replacing a pressure-relieving mattress topper.
The best waterproof mattress pad protector for your bed depends on size, preferred fabric, and how you plan to wash it. The BEDLORE models are machine washable and call for low-heat tumble drying; the provided PlushDeluxe details describe a quiet, smooth fit but don’t specify washing instructions, so confirm the current care label before laundering. If mattress movement is another frustration, this guide to keeping a mattress topper from sliding covers a separate fit issue. For extra cushioning rather than spill protection, see these pressure-relief mattress topper options.

FAQs
Will a waterproof mattress protector make a firm bed softer?
No, a protector is not a substitute for a mattress topper. These models add a fabric layer, but their listed features don’t include the thick foam or cushioning needed for substantial pressure relief at the hips and shoulders. Choose a separate topper if you want to change the feel of a firm bed.
How do I choose between BEDLORE and PlushDeluxe?
Choose based on the features that matter most to you. BEDLORE lists a quilted design, TPU waterproof layer, noiseless fabric, and machine-wash care; PlushDeluxe lists bamboo-derived viscose, a moisture-wicking breathable membrane, and a quiet fit. Product descriptions don’t provide comparable testing data for cooling or durability.
Will these protectors fit a thick mattress with a topper?
Yes, if the combined mattress height is no more than 18 inches. Each listed model specifies a deep-pocket fit up to that depth, but measure the mattress and any topper together before ordering. A protector that is too shallow may pull loose at the corners.
Are these mattress protectors noisy?
The product descriptions characterize both brands’ fabrics as quiet or noiseless. That can matter for light sleepers who notice crinkling as they turn, though individual sound perception can vary. The descriptions don’t provide independent noise measurements.
Can I machine wash a waterproof mattress protector?
BEDLORE says its protectors are machine washable and recommends tumble drying on low, with no ironing or bleaching. The supplied PlushDeluxe details don’t state laundering instructions, so check its product label before washing. Following care guidance helps avoid damaging the waterproof layer.
Can a mattress protector fix a sagging mattress?
No, a protector helps shield the mattress from liquid and everyday dirt, but it can’t repair sagging or restore support. If a dip is causing discomfort, review mattress topper options for added back support, while keeping in mind that a topper may not solve severe mattress sag.
