Extra cushion can change how a firm bed feels
A mattress that feels too firm can leave your shoulders and hips taking the brunt of the pressure, especially if you sleep on your side. A plush topper can add a softer surface, but it won’t repair a sagging mattress or replace the support of a bed that no longer holds your body in a comfortable position. This roundup focuses on the best mattress too soft solution for shoppers who want an affordable way to adjust surface comfort, not a new mattress core.
These Niagara Sleep Solution picks are toppers and mattress pads, rather than full mattresses. Product details list soft cotton or rayon derived from bamboo fiber, deep pockets for mattresses 8 to 20 inches deep, and machine-washable care. Those features can make everyday upkeep easier, though the listed details don’t provide firmness scores, foam density, sleep trials, warranties, or certifications. Added cushioning may suit a firm surface, but it can make an already-soft bed feel softer, so consider your current mattress condition and how much give you want.
Size matters too: the options include King, Queen, and Full, with listed dimensions for each. If you’re comparing surface comfort with a full bed’s support, see this mattress comfort guide. For a softer layer that can be removed and washed, browse the site’s mattress topper coverage. The six products below are from Niagara Sleep Solution, and their listed prices range from $32.99 to $47.45.

FAQs
Can a mattress topper make a firm mattress feel softer?
Yes, a plush topper can add a cushioning layer over a firm mattress. These Niagara options are described as ultra-soft and add extra cushioning, but they won’t fix a sagging core or correct poor spinal alignment caused by a worn-out bed.
Will these toppers work on a mattress that already feels too soft?
No, these products are designed to add softness, not firmness. If your mattress already lets your hips sink too far, adding a plush pad may worsen the hammock feeling rather than improve support.
Which mattress sizes are available in this roundup?
King, Queen, and Full sizes are listed. The product details specify 78 by 80 inches for King, 60 by 80 inches for Queen, and 54 by 75 inches for Full; check your mattress measurements before ordering.
Will the deep pockets fit a thick mattress?
Yes, the listed pocket depth fits mattresses 8 to 20 inches deep. Stretchy sides are described as helping the pad stay in place, but confirm your mattress height, including any existing layers.
Are the Niagara toppers machine washable?
Yes, the product details describe these pads as machine washable. For the compressed bamboo-derived rayon toppers, the instructions say to shake and pat the pad, then leave it for 48 hours or tumble dry on low heat for 20 minutes.
Do the product details confirm a sleep trial or mattress certification?
No, the supplied details don’t state a sleep trial, warranty, or named safety certification. Check the current product listing for return terms and material documentation before purchase, especially if those details are important to you.
