Heat and partner movement can turn a comfortable bed into a frustrating place to sleep
A warm bedroom, a restless partner, or pressure building at the hips can make it hard to settle in. The right memory foam mattress queen should balance contouring comfort with enough support to help keep your spine in a comfortable position, without promising a one-size-fits-all fix for aches. These three all-foam options use gel or green tea infusions and different profile heights, so you can compare cooling claims, pressure relief, and setup details against your own sleep habits.
After carefully analyzing the listed specifications, the Novilla Bliss stands out for its three-layer design, reinforced edges, and stated 100-night trial and 10-year protection. EGOHOME offers a 10-inch profile and identifies its foam as CertiPUR-US certified and fiberglass-free, while the other Novilla 12-inch model lists both CertiPUR-US and OEKO-TEX certifications. These details help narrow the field, but they don’t establish a precise firmness score or guarantee that a bed will feel cool in every room. Foam feel depends on body weight, sleeping position, bedding, and room conditions. For more support considerations, see this guide to mattresses for firm back support or compare the Helix Dusk comfort profile.
Memory foam can absorb partner movement, a useful trait in a shared bedroom, but its slower response may feel less lively than a spring or hybrid bed. Side sleepers may appreciate contouring around the shoulder and hip; stomach sleepers should pay close attention to whether their hips feel supported rather than sinking. Check that your platform or slatted foundation is suitable, and allow the compressed mattress time to expand. The product details specify up to 72 hours for the Novilla models to regain their full shape. Use the comparisons below to match cooling features, motion isolation, and pressure relief to your priorities instead of relying on a broad comfort claim.

Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Queen Gel Memory Foam
The Novilla Bliss 12-Inch Queen Mattress is a triple-layer all-foam bed-in-a-box that pairs contouring NanoGel memory foam with sturdy core support for balanced medium-firm comfort. It provides dependable motion dampening and targeted pressure relief, making it a smart choice for side and back sleepers seeking restorative alignment on a budget.
Pros
- Exceptional motion dampening minimizes partner disruption across the 60 by 80-inch queen surface.
- Targeted pressure relief eases tension along the lower back, hips, and shoulders for side and back sleeping.
- CertiPUR-US and ISPA certified materials ensure low chemical emissions and third-party verified foam safety.
- Odor-absorbing plant-infused fibers within the comfort foam layer help maintain long-term freshness.
Cons
- Perimeter edge compresses noticeably when sitting directly on the borders compared to steel coil hybrid beds.
- Full decompression of compressed corners and edges may take up to 72 hours after unboxing.
- Heavyweight sleepers over 230 pounds may experience deeper sinkage and prefer a firmer innerspring support core.
FAQs
Which of these queen memory foam mattresses has the clearest trial and warranty terms?
The Novilla Bliss listing specifies a 100-day free trial and 10-year protection. The supplied details for the other two mattresses don’t state trial or warranty terms, so confirm current policies with the seller before ordering. These terms can matter if the bed’s pressure relief or firmness doesn’t suit you.
Can gel memory foam keep a hot sleeper cool?
Gel and breathable fabrics are cooling features, not a guarantee of temperature-neutral sleep. The Novilla models list NanoGel foam and a knit cover, while EGOHOME describes green tea gel and a bubble-hole structure for airflow. Warm rooms, heavy bedding, and individual heat sensitivity still affect comfort.
Are these mattresses suitable for side sleepers with shoulder or hip pressure?
They may suit some side sleepers because their memory foam contours to the body and is described as pressure relieving. No firmness rating is provided, so the amount of sink and support is uncertain. Check whether your shoulder and hip feel cushioned while your spine remains comfortably aligned.
Is the EGOHOME queen mattress listed as fiberglass-free?
Yes, the EGOHOME product description identifies it as fiberglass-free and CertiPUR-US certified. The supplied details don’t specify the fire barrier construction for either Novilla mattress. Review the current product listing if fiberglass-free materials are essential to your purchase.
How long should Novilla mattresses take to expand after unboxing?
The listed guidance says to allow up to 72 hours for the Novilla mattresses to fully expand. Unbox the bed in the room where it will be used, then follow the manufacturer’s setup directions. Expansion time and any initial odor can vary, and no specific odor dissipation period is provided.
Can memory foam isolate a partner’s movement, and is it easy to change positions?
Yes, the Novilla descriptions highlight motion isolation, which may help limit disturbance from a partner shifting during the night. Memory foam can respond more slowly than an innerspring or hybrid mattress, though, so combination sleepers who want a buoyant feel may prefer a more responsive design. Compare these options with all-foam and hybrid comfort features before deciding.
